This was a huge surprise.. some of the best traditional style pho broth I have ever had. The spring rolls are hand made - fantastic. The other dishes I saw go by also looked and smelled incredible. The food is huge, delicious and very reasonably priced. It was brightly lit and a bit noisy. Staff was great. Definitely recommend

We ordered a couple apples for lunch, the pork spring rolls and salad roll. Freshest restaurant salad roll ever, with a generous helping of peanut sauce. The spring rolls were light, crispy, and delicious. Service was excellent, too. A modern, fresh clean look to the restaurant which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I went in thinking, well I’ll give it a try! In town for two nights and the hotel is beside the Bistro. The atmosphere is good and the food is fantastic. The front end staff lady was busy with 6 tables 12 people and other people picking up food orders & bubble tea orders. For only having 1 server/taking orders & looking after the customers this place was on pace. No one walked out unhappy. I wish the Grand Buddha Bistro all the best in the future. You put the city restaurants to shame!! I highly recommend stopping in.. P.S. The chicken place across the street.. well I’ve had better meals out of a box and made in a microwave!!

The Grand Buddha Bistro: Friendly staff, great flavour, a variety of options to suit any taste, and generous portions make this a place we have really enjoyed on visits to the Kootenays. My wife and I have had some great spicy curries, other family members (who don’t do spice at all) have also given solid praise. I recently called to set up a gift card for Mother’s Day and the team made it happen without a hitch. Overall a positive experience; we’ll be back!

The food is a 5, the service is a 4. Friendly but a little more care checking on tables needs but the food makes up for it. They have bubble tea but no real asian flavours like red bean or green tea coca cola was super frosty in the can, perfect finish. The hotel we are staying in (best Western) is right across the parking lot.
